Lee Magness was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Houston Interweb Design, Inc. (OTCMarkets: HITD) on June 1, 2002. Mr. Magness was subsequently elected Chairman of the Board of Directors effective June 2, 2002. He joined the company as a member of the Board of Directors in August 1996. Mr. Magness has over 25 years of experience in the technology and energy industry, including co-founding Houston Interweb as Chief Financial Officer since its inception in 1996. During the infancy of the Internet, Mr. Magness wrote and published numerous trade journal articles and industry publications on Search Engine Marketing, Web Optimization and Internet Marketing techniques. Houston Interweb was on the forefront of developing interactive database driven instant web sites that maximized search engine positioning which are now common in the industry. He also quickly recognized the opportunities for internet communities (PoliticalNet and Siteblazer forerunners to MySpace, Facebook and Internet Music Sites) and internet financial services - stored value cards, money transfer and on-line immediate payment sites (Paypal, Xoom, IKOBO).

Mr. Magness was responsible for the company’s global marketing and International Business Development and has been instrumental in establishing long term business relationships in Latin America, China, Russia, and Europe. Mr. Magness started his career at Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company (Now Spectra Energy) and Transco Energy Company, a subsidiary of Williams. Mr. Magness graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting, From Texas A& M with a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Thurgood Marshall School of Law with a Juris Doctorate.
